Imagine defending Ricky Gervais by declaring him not smug. LOL.

I think you meant REM.

So did I. When nothing changed in the election after Sandy Hook, I knew Americans weren’t gonna do shit.

That actually looks pretty good, I even see a smidge of pink in the middle. But I’m out with the cooking method. I prefer burgers to have some kind of char/crust on the outside. If I’m spending $7 on a burger, I’m going to The Habit. Thanks for the review!

When Sandy Hook happened I thought we might finally do something meaningful about gun control in this country. Because it was preventable just like this tragedy was preventable and the next one will be, too. But no. Republicans would rather sacrifice children to the cult of the NRA and the Second Amendment than even

I fucking can’t with this. Sandy Hook couldn’t change anything. My friends being murdered in Pulse couldn’t change anything. I really don’t think anything can change this or stop this, at least not anything American politicians would consider and the American public would allow. And so all of these people and goddamn

assuming gender to try and attack someone is so 2016.

That’s your fault, there are at least 20 better delis in that area that aren’t Subway.

Yeah, the whole “comedians are supposed to challenge social norms through humor and wit” thing doesn’t really apply when they’re just reinforcing social norms through dull observations that were already well established back in the 70s. “Trans women have COCKS” and “an [x] that identifies as a [y]” are things a drunk

If this is another comedian saying that his job is to push boundaries and make people uncomfortable, it’s already been said by plenty of comedians who are bad at their actual job of telling jokes.

Gervais and Chappelle are guaranteed into trans women and, just like Eddie Murphy. have probably given more than a few “a ride home.” If they weren’t they would, like other non-assholes, shut the fuck up and let people live their lives.

$100 Ricky Gervais is into trans women.

Letterman has a gift that not a lot of hosts/interviewers have, and it’s evolved and grown along with him and his work on himself. I think Howard Stern is probably the only other person I can think of who’s even more gifted in this regard.

Can we talk about how Jimmy and Kim had no qualms about burning the elderly clients and Main as collateral? They’ll land on their feet, as it was put, but they did screw a lot of people other than Howard along the way here.

I don’t understand why so many seem to view Howard as a dick.

I repeatedly see comments arguing that Howard didn’t deserve to go out in any sort of BrBa fashion, but was still a privileged douchebag lawyer. As I think about it, I really believe he is a prisoner of the circumstances he was born into, and every decision he makes or “douchebag” persona he puts on has always been an

Letterman is the best. The. Best.

Letterman is goofy (that’s his brand), but the interviews on this show are excellent and have good depth. They even often make me feel sympathetic towards people I don’t care about or actively dislike.

They are idiots. They aren’t smart enough to figure out what they stand for. They have to be told what to be mad about.

This will probably get him votes in his district.
