It's so good. David Koechner is perfect

I haven't been keeping up with comics at all lately, but I will say, Jason Aaron's Thor series from a few years ago was an absolute delight and I'm glad to see he's still writing that character

Just wanted to say thank you Mike for a great series. This was one I never missed

I just finished A VISIT FROM THE GOON SQUAD by Jennifer Egan and loved it so much. I thought at first I wouldn't like jumping around to different timelines and characters, but it creates such a rich and beautiful tapestry that it completely won me over. My only gripe would be the ending, which felt a little too pat

I've been wanting to check out some of Alan Moore's novels. Have you read his Voice of the Fire? It's been sitting on my shelf for a while, but it seems too dense to start

I love Madame Bovary. I still get goosebumps when I think about the black bile.

Never Let Me Go is my favorite book of all time, so yes, read that next.

Nice Blood on the 4 Tracks reference. Did that ever come out?

    Said no one, ever.

Good lord, where did you find all those awesome poster designs?

I have the Jack Kirby 2001 series from 1976. It is pure Kirby bliss, and even more so if you love the movie

I like this even better picturing Cersei saying it

Tom Hanks, same as it ever was

    Upvoted for the Laser Age

    And The Wake

    Needs more Black Science

This is my favorite comic out right now

As I said below, I just didn't connect with it like I did with Never. I'd actually suggest reading Remains first, because it is still a very good book, and I think it will make the devastation of Never that much stronger

I guess I just didn't connect to it as much as I did Never Let Me Go. It's a shorter, slighter book, still devastating at times, and a whole lot funnier. It just never ripped my heart out like Never did. I think Asbo nailed it, it's subjective and while the Downtown Alley stuff is interesting, coming of age sci fi
