How good is Never Let Me Go! Probably my favorite book I've read in a while, but then I read Remains of the Day and was kind of let down, so I'm thinking maybe the rest of his stuff isn't as good?

Speaking of going through old fantasy series, I just finished *Queen of Sorcery*, book 2 of the Belgariad. This one got a little high school boy fantasy pervy at the end with the snake queen, but all in all this is a really good series so far.

I just picked up Magician's Land, can't wait to dive in, but currently, I'm finishing up Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke. It's fantastic, I love how the Overlords look like the devil. Interesting precursor to 2001, too, with the whole evolution via aliens thing
