This is why there are still a lot of LeBron haters out there. He’s probably now in the top 3 players of all time, but he sits out nationally-televised games. By comparison Jordan committed to playing every game he could, and made quotes like these:
Other industries don’t need the appearance of competitive balance of competing companies in order to thrive.
Drew, you need to watch Shark Tank more often. A few weeks ago you pined for the Drop Stop. Now you are wishing someone invented the Drip Drop.

Re: quarterbacks: I know this is an obvious question, but how can a team spend a top pick on someone like Goff while Dak gets picked in the 4th round and by PRESEASON, it’s already obvious who’s better?
Did everyone realize that the Pistons have the league’s 3rd highest payroll this year? SVG and Co. have had to constantly overpay to bring in any sort of talent to build up a horrible roster they inherited.
My taek is that Shaq is getting worried. He loves to be the life of the party, and for most of his life I’m sure he is. Then he goes on TNT and he knows he’s not nearly on Barkley level. So he tries to get into arguments with Barkley just to assert himself. And I’m sure Turner created Shaqtin because he complained he…
Fair, “all-in” wasn’t the best description there. To rephrase, Cubes is trying his damndest to make the Mavs the 8th best team in the West. Which I can understand given they are trying to support Nowitzki, but I also think it’s a little hard to get excited about a team who isn’t fully invested in a rebuild but also…
Philly gets the 2018 pick, but we don’t know yet if there are any future protections.
Cubes is going all in for the ability to lose in the first round of the playoffs. You should feel...indifferent?
They went with RJ during a time when the team had no talent and had to take a gamble in trading low and paying him quite a lot to keep him around. The risk ended up not paying off but is not a complete disaster, but everyone knows he’s not the solution. I’m not sure another half season is even necessary.
I think the Pistons want a ton of value from either of those guys, since they are their two cornerstones (for better or worse). Which means they will want some good young talent or draft picks for guys who are underperforming with a higher salary.
You forgot Memphis. Also your list contains two entries of cities, one made up of two states, and one of one of the largest states in the country. I haven’t seen a list this bad since the Marchman debacle.
Basically, KD has become 1996 Shaq.
I would think word spread that Dolan has a bad relationship with Oakley, so they are quick to say that before they get fired for letting someone Dolan hates sit near him. Their self preservation is why I believe precisely 0% of these witnesses’ stories.
He knows that eventually that sound clip will be used for a Kings or NBA commercial. Maybe he gets residuals? If so then it’s a smart move. If not, then yeah he needs to STFU and stop trying so hard to be Al Michaels.
This one has always been my favorite too
TL:DR LeBron is overall a decent person and amazing player but he’s still a whiny little bitch
