Calling something a social construct doesn't mean "totally unreal;" it means that it's the product of culturally-based perceptions.

Driver would've gone to lunch if Hamill had agreed to do the lunch in character as the Joker. And he'd at least have hung out with him for a few minutes at craft services if he got to hang out with Ozai.

As a devout, conservative Catholic, Hannity is strongly opposed to pulling out. If the advertisers had used the rhythm method, he'd be fine with it.

Too bad he didn't pad the walls.

Of all kinds of credulity, the most obstinate and wonderful is that of political zealots; of men, who being numbered, they know not how or why, in any of the parties that divide a state, resign the use of their own eyes and ears, and resolve to believe nothing that does not favor those whom they profess to follow.

A man sometimes starts up a patriot, only by disseminating discontent, and propagating reports of secret influence, of dangerous counsels, of violated rights, and encroaching usurpation. This practice is no certain note of patriotism. To instigate the populace with rage beyond the provocation, is to suspend publick

Politicks are now nothing more than means of rising in the world. With this sole view do men engage in politicks, and their whole conduct proceeds upon it.

Life is a pill which none of us can bear to swallow without gilding.

Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it.

Sir, I have found you an argument. I am not obliged to find you an understanding.

"I used to be with it. Then they changed what 'it' was, and now what's 'it' scares and confuses me. It'll happen to you, too!"

A milder version of his idea seems plausible to me: Jimmy starts doing off-the-books legal consultation or money-laundering work for criminals, and uses the name "Saul Goodman" sot he name "Jimmy McGill" isn't attached to it. But by the time his suspension is up, that's the only kind of law he wants to do or can do.

Nobody tell this guy about Mr. Show.

Yeah. "Feels like."

And he's kind of turning into his brother: something goes wrong? Fuck Chuck, it's really *his* fault!

For a guy who's so brilliant as a con artist, he's a goddamn awful salesperson and client outreach person on his own. In Season 1, he manages to attract two loons as prospective clients followed by a very small potatoes client.

Hell, even Jimmy ending up int he mailroom at HHM is because he got ticked off and took a dump through a sunroof. Chuck kept him out of jail and off the sex offender registry.

If we take Chuck agreeing with Howard last episode at face value, Chuck has moved on from messing with Jimmy and is perhaps trying to get real, professional help.

And it's showing us that Jimmy would rather lie to everyone around him and keep up appearances, which is increasingly what's going to isolate and harden him into Saul Goodman.
