To combat this winter's attempt to kill me I'm trying to go with stuff that's a bit more upbeat. This is from the sister half of the Fiery Furnances and she uses Hall & Oates' "Maneater" (a fine song in its own right) in a real fun and playful way. Enjoy and stay warm.

Good album. I didn't take to the next album nearly as much, though. Animal Collective/Panda Bear were the majority of my iPod for a space of about 2 years between '08 and '10.

That live Clapton /Cale is so very sweet…..
EVH will always have a spot. The first 30 seconds of Mean Street are a great example of how unique and groundbreaking he was. There was nothing like this before this.

I think Dickey Betts would be kinda bummed out to hear he's dead haha. I feel really lucky that I got the chance to see him about ten years ago at a small bar in Charlottesville, that was a great night. But my jam of choice right now (non-Muse division):
