From what I’ve been reading, it’s more of a, “if you’re bashing your head against a boss, you’re doing something wrong” sort of thing.

I’m not sure how you played Monster Hunter, but as a longtime series veteran I spend 90+% of my time in those games fighting the monsters. You can easily play Monster Hunter and do well without descending into cringe tryhard builds.
Armored Core, however... tweaking is basically the name of the game.
Being a lone mech against the world is kind of armored core’s thing, so...
I’m in the opposite camp, I’ve been waiting 10 years for a new AC. The newest Bethesda RPG can hang out for a while until I’ve kicked enough robots off of cliffs.
this is only eliminating grind that has nothing to do with the competition.
The rules say people arent allowed to do this, so when they do this they are cheating.
Maybe they're the worst and that's why they are getting caught.
Was “Switch-Like” taken? It’s definitely easier to say.
I mean... not everything is for everyone? I feel like you’re looking less for someone to convince you of the series being good / why they like it as much as you want to feel better than people who do.
Scott is really just deluding himself into thinking that everyone likes him. He’s really a kind of shitty dude, as you’ve noted, for the first half of the story and doesn’t start improving until volume 4. But he does improve, in a much more real and earned way than the movie could possibly show.
VOD means high quality pirate copies will be available almost immediately afterword. Not that I’d know anything about that.
Because they’re not treating this like different versions.
It does not take thousands of hours to get EVs. You can literally just buy items in Levincia that let you boost your mon’s EVs in any way you choose. Nobody is grinding EVs anymore.
From what I understand, you have to level up the pokemon on your competition team through dozens of hours of grinding to get them to a viable level.
The "But everyone else does it" line is the oldest one in the book. Not they don't. Their problem is they just don't want to play the game and get straight to trying to make money off of it. They can stick to Pokemon Showdown for that.
The meta is meaningless. People say that these pokemon are super powerful, and that other pokemon are terrible. They said my Dhelmise was terrible.
Good. Play the fuckin’ game. People are like “but how can you build an optimal team without it?” and it’s like “THAT’S THE POINT!”
naw, this gen its easier than ever to get full team. the only reason you need to breed is to get an egg move or get a specific iv stat, which for the vast majority isnt needed and its usually for only one stat.
