It shows she submitted payment and was given the bike. Just because they voided her payment before charges accrued doesn’t mean they didn’t take it off her.

It’s sad but not surprising how badly some of you want utter ruin for this woman. I’ve seen calls for her imprisonment and even death. But even losing her job, over THIS? You want vengeance, not justice.

They don’t actually care that she’s right. Facts don’t matter. They’re doing the bare minimum to avoid getting wrapped up in the inevitable lawsuit and I hope they fail miserably. She’ll get retirement type money from NBC and CNN etc but not enough to really hurt them. Something like G/O Media though (owners of The

That’s a shame, he only scraped up against the wall. I was hoping he’d run head on into a wall.

That defeats the intended purpose to entice users to make additional purchases at a future date.

the savings are deposited into players’ accounts after 14 days—the point after which it’s no longer possible to refund a game. That part is kind of silly

I hear you, but I have to say that my time spent in gaming stores makes up all of a small fraction of my gaming experience.  Any time I’ve bought or redeemed a game on Epic it’s taken me less than a minute.

It is so unbelievably bizarre to me the way people act like if you buy a game on Epic they make you take your Steam library out behind the woodshed.

People act like using one means you can’t use the other. I usually go to CVS, but I’ll go to Walgreens if I happen to be in the neighborhood, or they’re running a good sale. Same with Steam vs. Epic. I don’t understand the passion.

I personally have wasted enough money purchasing Fortnite V-Bucks that it would eventually work out for me to buy...probably more V-Bucks.

It’s way better than the EA launcher, at least the Epic launcher actually works reliably. All I want my launcher to do is start my games, if it does that I’m happy, I don’t need extra features.

Truly one of the most inexplicably successful people in show business.

There are three games I can think of that made me honestly believe I was living in the future the first time I played them:

“Sony’s been having a pretty stellar year thus far. Yeah, there were a couple of flops – Forspoken, most notably—but strong multi-platform releases such as Resident Evil 4 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have helped make it a lively period for PlayStation.”

Just to add to a few of these:

Yeah, they’d really have to take some big unexpected swings to get me interested in buying a PS5 at this point...I’d love if they showed any respect for their older franchises (Ape Escape 4! Wipeout!). But I’m not even sure if most of their interesting studios still exist.

My WFH days are when I get the most work done. This week is one of my busiest weeks of the year, my boss told me to stay home so I can get more done. Trust your workers, Elon. If you can't trust them from home, either they have deeper issues, or you do.

Man using paying customers to perform open road beta tests of self driving software that is explicitly designed to disregard road laws in favor of convenience has opinions on morality.

Overwatch died for this, rofl. So OW2 is now just a large patch, period. Not a sequel (rofl) and not even an expansion, just a big patch after a VERY long dry spell.

Nah Henry Ford's cars stayed together and could be fixed by the common man.
