I never found it to be so demanding that you’d be screwed for not playing perfectly. There’s certainly some very difficult scenarios but as long as you’re being efficient and not burning cards unless you absolutely need to you can win.

The PC version is a faithful adaptation of the board game that removes the hassle of setting the game up. If you hated the PC version, you’ll hate the board game even more.
