I played the demo at NYCC. It had a few different playable characters and I remember the jumping felt really awkward.

That was Powered Up, which I thought was great.

I get that people are bothered by this character, but I am so confused by how upset people are that the character exists at all. It’s the game’s villain, he’s not a good guy, he’s not someone that needs to be sympathetic; he can just be a guy who is a completely irredeemable piece of shit.

Yeah. It’s not a roguelite. The levels aren’t even procedurally generated. The only similarity is that it’s set in the afterlife.

That’s the main difference between a “roguelike” and “roguelite”. I am of the opinion that “roguelites” are cool unless they actually require that you unlock a bunch of stuff before you can successfully complete a run.

My mistake, I incorrectly remembered they had settled out of court.

Nah, they just had a problem with the fact that the first game used the word Doom in its name. Hell, all they did was change its name to DRL and that was enough to comply to the C&D; it still has all the Doom sprites, sounds, and music included.

YES.  My god the music on those tracks are incredible.

I think what I want out of a new Mario Kart is a detailed track editor, a robust solution for finding these tracks, and the ability to play those tracks online in public lobbies. Basically I want Trackmania, but Mario Kart. Because as you said, there’s nothing wrong with MK8D, so all I really want is more tracks.

That has nothing to do with the price of Nintendo games remaining relatively high. Go back and actually read what was happening in the 90's for that case and I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

For what it’s worth, the game is cross-gen for when you eventually upgrade. So if you get it on XBox One it will automatically upgrade to the Series X version and the PS4 version gives you the PS5 version.

That is how I understand it, because they also explain that if you drill too far into the chip you break the drive.

The linked video explains that the chip is 4 layers, so if I understand this correctly those pins handle more than just what is being targeted.

Kanna is a little kid even by dragon standards in the show, so I don’t even think they can even try the “she’s actually a hundred years old!” nonsense. She doesn’t even do that thing where she acts like an adult in a very young body, she acts like a little kid. She is a child in elementary school and Kobayashi is

It so quickly moves from cute and funny to creepy as hell thanks to the way they handle some of the kids on the show.

For me, I found that using a bike instead of a kart introduced a new set of challenges and allowed friends to actually start coming in first. Worth a try if you’re like me and don’t have any friends willing to try anymore. :X

That isn’t what price fixing is.

Those old weird PC boxes were great, but this PS2 case design is horrible!

The Bulbasaurs did that to me. They absolutely made me start tearing up and I do not understand why.

The actors mostly look like they’re enjoying themselves, and that goes a long way.
