If this is missing achievements, saving, DLC, online play, and leaderboards, what does this actually feature aside from what’s already accessible from arcade mode? Training mode?

I had no idea that people liked this game. Reviews around the time of release were pretty bad so I never looked more closely at it.  It sounds like something I might enjoy!

I haven’t really done it since the NES era, but I would toss the controller into the air and go boneless as the thing plummeted into the ground. Games were different back then. Games were bullshit.

There is no other game that does what Monster Hunter does. Even derivative games like God Eater don’t go all the way with it and as a result always come up short for me.

Yeah, having a sort of Sherpa to guide you really helps. Monster Hunter games are a lot so it’s difficult to just jump into.

I really hope it’s good! Mortal Kombat in particular always seemed well-suited to being made into a movie. I think it helps that the characters and lore are detailed but simple, so there’s already something to work with but no need to spend forever explaining things.

Well, the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro is considered relatively cheap as well, and those are $180.  A wireless headset generally is pretty pricey.
