There’s nothing stopping developers from going in and patching in higher resolution/high quality support for older games if they detect the new hardware.

I understand that you prefer that style of game, but Absolution is the black sheep of the series for focusing on story and linear mission design rather than the sandbox experience. What they’ve made with this new Hitman game is what the series truly is - a murder puzzle sandbox.

It’s really hard! I’ve spent a couple hours trying to get the Silent Assassin rating on the mission but I’ve never even come close.

Doom 2. Either vanilla or with mods, that game just makes me happy whenever I play it.

It’s hard to tell if the ref really didn’t know what was going on or if he was following a script and not allowing Neville to lose. If the latter, Jericho’s move to get disqualified was the perfect reaction to the scenario.

As it is now, setting the resolution to something 16:9 stretches the image.

It’s got a single player campaign, co-op, and custom map support. If it’s good, it’ll last.

A bunch of people were getting bugs and crashes, but for what it’s worth I never experienced anything but the poor performance that everyone is complaining about. It’s a turn-based game so performance isn’t the most critical thing. It is definitely playable.

It definitely looks like it’s going for that style what with all the executions and extreme gore.

Ehhhh, the PSX version that’s on PS3 is kinda bad.
