I called up VT’s DMV system several months ago because I had the same fear. As I was told, they’re very well aware that people use them like this and they’re happy to continue doing it...provided people stop trying to register stolen cars to the state.

I have free supercharging for life, that does not mean I can take up a spot and block others from supercharging. I feel like the solution is to not be a dick and pay the “idling” fees. The energy is free, not the parking spaces.

Uh GM makes EVs too.  Chevy Volt and maybe the Cadillac ELR.

I’ve never understood the Foreign/Domestic lots at factories. I would understand a GM lot and an “Everything Else” lot.

Yeah, I agree. I might go to $4k, but that would be it. There’s still parts to be replaced, surprises to come out. At least you can wait in the nice interior for the next tow.
