If they can’t even afford the time and expense of a nice mockup, that doesn’t bode well for the actual vehicle.

Im betting this isn’t the actual product but just a mockup for marketing. i.e. they had the 3d drawings and they just added in batteries and a generic pack over the engine.
Doesn’t Jeep essentially just print money with what they’re currently doing? I’m under the impression that it was the most valuable bit of FCA.
This thing is probably $250K+. That other one that Mercedes posted the other day was not nearly as complete a changeover and was around $200K.
Plus the stock is intuitive
This is design hubris.
This seems like a leaked admission that they're merging with BMW.
As a long-time owner of thirsty cars, I say target the fuel and not the cars. Those who consume the most should pay the most, and face the strongest incentives to buy fuel-efficient vehicles and drive in fuel-efficient ways.
they had me at “The first trip of three girls starts from the footbath.
At the beach-yaki shop, the whole spiny lobster is covered with tension max.”
“The first time for three girls”
you are aware that column shifters and bench seats are rather uncommon outside of ‘merica, right?
He looks horrible in this picture. I don’t know if its just the photography, but he looks like he is in liver failure.
Can confirm. Got laid in a 1966 Rambler wagon.
I don’t know how little your house is, but my house is so small the kitchen is not much bigger than a kitchen island. (850sf, but I do have a finished basement that adds to the space!)
Are you honestly trying to say that wealthy influencers should put form above function when purchasing their house that will only serve as a backdrop?
You’re right, but I do love these columns. It is partially about responding to wealthy consumer trends, but I think it’s more about homeowners wanting the crazy shit they see on HGTV rather than what actually works in a home.
I am finding this “house tour” series to be both extremely fascinating, and a little bit off-putting in it’s tone. Maybe I’m reading too far into it, but this and yesterday’s “entryway” piece give off this vibe of like. . .wanting these things in your home makes you a slave to capitalism and a silly person who falls…
I have to wonder what he could mean by “not as bad as it looks,” because it looks like a horror movie basement. Dated, filthy, and probably the scene of a crime or three.
Yeah, I was hovering over NP until I took a good look at that interior shot, you’d probably have to strip everything out just to get rid of the “rodents drowned in piss” smell.
I have to admit that it makes sense. I’d have to see this with my own eyes to see how well it was executed. Still, I’d live with it & probably not give it a 2th thought.
