We have it down to a science. Yould be amazed how tight we can par once we shut of all the car nannies

“Teach your (other) to drive a stick” is one thing, its another if they refuse to learn.

Well to be honest there arent many different ways to make a fiberglass egg :)

I dont even have to read about the car to say NO, way too much money for a very boring car.

They ddnt have diesel-gate back then :)

And the very basics, a new cap. Though on a Phaton its probably hand cast in a garage by a little old german engineer, or from a VW fox.

Oh man where to start ...

It’s usually part of the “free” multipoint inspection, otherwise known as how else can we screw you.

Drop it to around 10K then np, at 18 no deal

Especially the lousy rash way the kinja works. You really cant engage easily with someone beyond the 1st comment,

Im just waiting for when it folds up on itself, but it looks really good.

I cant find the post where you replied to me about diesels. I looked it up on the samba board. 0-60 in 30 seconds for a Vanagon D is considered normal.. I remember when C and D called this dangerous.

Ive been bitching about this for months and it seems no one gives a f*ck.

Wasnt the Diesel Vanagon the slowest 0-60 of 27 seconds of all time?

But at that price they want a subaru engine.

Im shocked really no Subaru engine, that would have been the smart way to go to make it modern day drivable, and Go-westy has done this conversion in there sleep.

I suspect this started life as a flip then he got in too deep, or a restoration then he realized the thrill of driving a slow VW Vanagon

The killer was the “new” engine. It may be new but its still an underpowered mill. If it was a swap to a better engine then maybe. The engine swap doesnt violate the “no project car” rule since its done so often by so many.
