That beard, its like when Mrs Clause in “The Year Without a Sant Claus” did Santa Drag

we had a 1960 4dr sedan, 63 wagon and a 69 wagon, they all did it

We owned three of them. You cant look at them in isolation, but in comparison to its competitors at the time. They all sort of over sold their “features”

But man if you did all the seats folded flat to make a bed

I to have a 850 sq ft home with a EIK the size of small bedroom.

The home renovation show with the twin brothers, no matter how small the kitchen they always stuck in an island. You cant fit two people on the same side who cares YOU GOT AN ISLAND!  In small kitchens, which most people have they are impractible.

About 3000 too much

Depends on the car. I have with Subarus

Actually VW manuals do have their weaknesses, but depending upon who did the install, may have been addressed at the time. The weaknesses arent insurmountable.

The radio solution isnt that weird. The Vanagon wont fit a DIN radio due to lack of depth behind the dash.

Very green acres of them

And the marketing department at GM des so well at selling the bolt and volt.

Somehow I dont see electric Hummers at 100K a pop flying out of chevy dealerships

And it being GM i am sure every tech will be trained and up to speed on how to work on them.

Technically it doesnt brick the car, but it bricks the flat screen display through which EVERYTHING operates. Im not even sure if the sterring wheel controls and stalks still work.

At 40,000 dollars a shot I would hope something would last longer then6-10 years.

My 05 Outback had the master drivers door switch go bad (35.00), the tailgate harness (75.00) and the power seat switch go bad (25.00) otherwise everything, even the heated seats work well. There has been struts and brakes but they are wear items so they dont count.

If you can find one

My 2005 outback has 208,000 miles. My previous outback had 185,000 on it, so  they must think their cars are throw aways.

Also “to their credit”, this was not done out of the goodness of their hearts. A lot of people had this issue and had to pay out of pocket for something Tesla wouldnt cover at first.
