I’m a little over an hour into the game, and it feels like if Playdead tried their hand at a Zelda-like game. Everything feels familiar but alien. Everything you need to proceed is given to you, even if you don’t know how all the pieces fit. It’s tough but fair and doesn’t punish you for failing(save points are spaced

Not trying to make a case for playing Tunic(as I’m only an hour into it), but I would suggest giving it a try. Yes it’s “soulsbourne”, but honestly I’m not really sure what the penalty is(if there is any) for dying. Plus save points are plentiful. So far there’s at least one in every new area, and one close to a boss.

There are good adaptations out there, just not ones that “fans” are waiting with baited breath for. Sonic The Hedgehog and Detective Pikachu are two that come to mind. Also on television there’s Castlevania and Arcane. It’s few and far between but we’re getting there.

If the idea was to modernize the 60's Batman show, then I can totally see this casting...and honestly with Reitman behind the camera, would have been a total blast. Terrible Batman movie? Most likely. Comedy classic? About as likely.

I’ve been substituting store bought toritillas for bread rolls, when making breakfast sandwiches. I find that rolls tend to get moldy pretty quick and tortillas last longer.

I feel like BoTW2 will get the early 2023 slot that Arcesus had this year. Just feels like with Violet and Scarlett having late 2022 slots, that’s their holiday slate covered right there.

Logo-Gate 2022: Ryu Dong Edition

For me, it’s all about timing. M-F, I get up make an insulated bottle of coffee(to drink at work) and peel 1-2 oranges(to eat once I get to work). I can do all hat and get out of the door and commuting in about 45 minutes. On the weekends, my gf and I usually go out breakfast or brunch or make a full breakfast,

His new super is a helicopter donging.

I was afraid of this happening. Especially after Avengers failed. I feel like they were kinda just dump this one out and not do anymore Marvel games. It’s a shame because imagine the gameplay and writing you can apply to other Marvel properties? This would be so fun if you can play as Captain America, in the Starlord

This is pretty similar to how the youtube channel, 2020 Vision, was able to “predict” celebrity deaths. I believe they used a bot to create tons of a few second long videos of celeb names with dates, and they release them publicly on the date of the death, while deleting all the videos of the incorrect date. The video

I mean it’s pretty simple. Award shows USED to be popular because it was a genuine live event viewing(pre-interenet and cable era) experience and competitors used to counter program against it. Today, with social media, anything worth tuning in for you can see mere seconds after it happened, while you’re watching what

For me and mine, it depends on the table and if we’re sharing food. If we’re sat at a square 4 seater, we like to sit in L formation(one side each, but connecting, forming a L shape. We push the condiments(and any other table additions)to the other side, so we can also share food if the mood suit us. Generally we tend

Yes, but totally understandable if you missed it. It was titled “The 3rd Birthday.” Not “Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday”, just “The 3rd Birthday” and it was only on the PSP.

David Cronenberg’s Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Trouble is my stomach’s middle name.

Sterling is a legend. If you only read about/watch videos on their feud with Digital Homicide, it’s enough to place them in a pantheon of gaming journalism vs. toxic developer.

“Maybe wait until I wake up before you start consummating the marriage over my unconscious body?”

For the last storm we had I made pizza from Kenji’s No Knead Pizza recipe. I also made some baked cajun wings. The next storm we get my gf wants me to make Alison Roman’s white bean stew. That may not be enough for me, so I’ll probably make another pizza(have a ton of flour and yeast still).
