Fallout had a way bigger fanbase going into the show than The Boys ever did. Even amongst comic readers, it was an indie hit, but not hitting Marvel/DC numbers. Fallout is a modern classic AAA .

Not sure how far into the games you got, or if you didn’t pay much attention to the lore, but yeah, Vault-Tec was always comic book-y evil. Playing the games, it’s easy to forget or ignore, if you just pay attention to the gameplay or following quest markers most of the time, but it was always there.

I don’t think it would “work” for all shows. I think had they gone to a weekly model for Fallout, there possibly would have been a viewer decline about midway through. Maximus’ and the Ghoul storylines got uninteresting and around the middle of the season. I wasn’t even really interested in their characters at this

I’m amazed that the same director who cut his teeth making Road Trip, Old School and three Hangover movies managed to direct the most dour mainstream comic book movie ever produced.

Although I despise Vincent Gallo for his public persona, I do love the story between him and Ebert over their feud with Brown Bunny.

I think the reason Ebert gets the shrapnel for 80's slashers is that Siskel essentially doxxed the producer and Betsy Palmer by giving out their addresses and spoiled the ending of Friday the 13th, in his printed review of the movie. People attribute that to having been on done their show.

The gf and I like our various hot sauces, but other than that, the only real condiments we have on-hand are for recipes(fish sauce, soy) or situational like mustard for pretzels or hotdogs.

Sad that they let Beau DeMayo go, but I get it(if it’s because of his OF page). His writing of the X-Men is way better than most of the movies. He really understands the characters and the scripted action scenes that are right out of the best comics. Too bad he’s in Disney jail, cause he would be great candidate to

I’m honestly surprised that made it passed QA. I feel like it’s a translation issue, but more than likely the compromise with them having so many retry options and so many different scenarios(multi-phase battles) to apply them to.

It’s all relative to where you live really. In my area, I have to drive a good distance for a good hike. So my only alternative is a walk around the neighborhood, or visit one of the local parks, which are flat and not very scenic.

Haha, I get where you’re coming from, but it’s not a 1:1 comparison. People engage with with the two mediums in different ways. I can read a book in the park, or on my lunch break, or on a train commuting to work. I can stop reading at my own leisure, and pick it up immediately without any effort. I can literally look

Her not getting it, is par for the course of everyone she allies herself with. They pride themselves on not getting it.

You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t, right? If he’s addressing you and your performace, you look cowardly by not responding. However, if you do respond, you’re feeding into his ego by giving him attention.

Release the Cerveza Cristal Cut!

My favorite qoute about being “woke” came from Howard Stern of all people, and I’ll all for it:

Lot’s of voters for the orange baboon would have no idea what a Madame Web is. They’re too busy buying “pay-it-forward” tickets to Sound of Freedom.

You can skip most optional dialogue or banter by pressing triangle. You’ll know if it’s an important piece of info or exposition when the game forces you to hold the triangle to skip.

This. I would enjoy if it like the simplest matches were tied to side quests, not increasingly difficult ones the further you get. What could be a fun mini-game turns into grind-y annoyances more than anything.

That’s Peoria Plump to you!

Thanks for that. That’s a helpful bit of information. Especially going into FF7 Rebirth this week, I probably won’t be able to even start anything like Pacific Drive and give it the attention it needs for awhile.
