Agree. The TSA has not shown to show any useful function beyond theater. Their people are poorly trained and their tactics are clearly racist. Someone is making a boatload of money, though, so I guess they’re here to stay.

Digging around court records, it looks like they originally filed soon after the incident, but the TSA argued that they (or their counsel) didn’t properly follow procedure and got it dismissed.
That TSA agent should be arrested for attempted rape or sexual abuse of a minor.
Having kids has consequences....having kids in terrible schools has consequences....parents not spending enough time raising their kids has consequences....
One woman on NPR described her THREE HOUR efforts to get both of her kids to two different schools in the morning - less than a dozen miles apart.
Somebody is tired of replacing head gaskets as routine maintenance.
Southerners aren’t more racist than northerners, they’re just mostly more open and honest about it.
Counterpoint... The Fenders on U-Haul trailers are too high. Most people don’t know they are actually hinged so you can swing them down and get your doors open to get in/out of your car when it is loaded.
The governor is busy keeping masks off people’s faces because “Freeduhms!”
I'll tell you what, that train is God damned hero, protecting the good people of Texas from getting wind turbine cancer!

Tesla Model 3. It has some weird halo effect despite being ugly and having a bargain basement interior... And that's before getting into the quality issues. It drives fine, it's fast, and electric... But since when does that get it a free pass when it also costs $50k?
Disagree, owning multiple cars is hardly uncommon. No reason for a daily driver to not be electric for a good 25% of people.
That’s probably because it’s the only market in America in which an EV is viable from a business standpoint and not, you know, a chore or some kind of virtue signal.

What percentage of your vehicle operating hours would you think match this usage scenario?
Well, that’s equivalent to the backless booster seat without the 5 point harness, so, for older kids, not toddlers. Based on Walmart, having this feature in your car could save you anywhere from $13 to $50. That said, I imagine the option cost more.
At a certain point do you ask if government money could be better spent than making EVs all-but free?
