From the couple of articles I’ve read, including this one, it sounds like a loop in a garage pull rope. As Ahildy9815 states though a Deadspin article says that it was definitely noose like.  I’d still like to see a picture.

Is there a picture of the noose anywhere? Sounds to me it wasn’t really a noose but instead just a loop in the rope for easier gripping.  But I can only go by what little I’ve read about it.
