This! I have 225k 99 XJ which is known for the bullet proof 4.0l. Sure the motor and tranny have been bullet proof. But i’m always doing things here and there, In the last few years I’ve done radiator, heater core, evap, alternator, starter, cracked exhaust manifold, valve cover gasket, oil pressure switch etc, not

“But if you scrutinize most owners experiences they’ll routinely drop $2k/year or more on mechanical repairs in addition to maintenance activities.”

One of my best friends has one of these and so I recognize this is a NP. However, let me say something about this,

I don’t know why they picked July 9th but I’m sure they’ve been delaying the launch. Lets assume for a second they had an important reason for picking July 9th. Perhaps they weighed this fact, “27 years old OJ’s friend drove OJ on a police chase in a Bronco” - it’s not the anniversary of that police chase. It’s OJ’s

You can pretty much stuff that much coke in the new BMWs 4 series nostrils.

The police ramming these rioters don’t really bother me . There is a difference between protesters and rioters  .Protesters should be protected rioters need to be protected against . When a crowd attacks it can get real ugly real fast .

I’m a year and a half sober, and this is very trying...at least I’m still working. While I’m working I get to provide IT services to a wife that is telecommuting and a pair of surly teenagers as well, that all seem to have issues that I’ve never caused/experienced in 30 years of playing with computers.

Those one-way water flow designs only work when they’re brand new. And in light weather too. Aside from taillights and trunk hinges, most of the problems I see are with the cabin air intakes in front of the windshield. This is the usual place to suck air in from the outside, and it also has to drain a lot of water off

Well if anyone was in any doubt about it, that should clear it up. NP for a nice car, just check that odd gasket.

Your point #3 seems to line up with DeWayneV8's opinion that the stock exhaust is fairly restrictive. Just thought I’d point that out.

They’re parked on the lot right next to the $35k Tesla Model 3s.

No joke, back when I was in high school, I wrote a report about the USS Monitor vs CSS Virginia (ex-Merrimac) battle of the ironclads and called it Ferrous Duelers Face Off.

Ferrous Duelers’ Day Off?

Before there were trains, people crashed horses into things.

I've expected for a while to see Mitsubishi and Toast in the same headline.

This appears to be the perfect toast for Mitsubishi tuna salad.

You aren’t paying $2k a month for 60 months. Let’s assume based on the e63 wagon it depreciates 50% in 60 years and 60k miles. That’s $55k-ish depreciation in 60 months.

This may be revolutionary but may I suggest you keep your money in a balanced portfolio of equities, bonds, cash, and if you must some alternative investments like real-estate and commodities?

I don’t get why logos are “due for updates” anyway. Unless there’s a fundamental shift in the business that muddles the logo’s message or they used some very period-specific styling in the first place, there’s no need to change something that currently works. It only makes sense when there’s a functional issue to be

Mk 7.5 manual owner here. Yes on the power. Yes on the plaid. Yes on the manual. NOOOOOO on everything else! Especially touchpad screens instead of knobs and dials. GAH!
