Little anecdote for you: On Friday at 2pm I posted my 2015 m3 for sale online in a single forum. It’s a one owner, clean, well maintained, stock model with 71k miles on it. Kinda a hard to find spec too.

As a 2019 Wrangler owner....

Do you mean BMW drives another nail in the coffin of it’s brand and product direction?

Most would consider me batshit but I have a very strong desire to daily drive 993 C4 porsches and 997.1 turbo 6mts. One of the parts that detracts from my desire to daily drive them on the long highway trips is their lack of good bluetooth audio and sound systems (unless you put $2-3k into it).

I used my BMW dealer to have my windshield replaced recently. While there, I compared the 3rd row of a showroom x5 to the showroom x7.

I’ve driven a later model ML and they are tanks - literally they drive slow, solid, and like they are unstoppable. This generation is also solid off-road.

Michael - A few items to note about gas prices...

It’s so slightly overpriced I’m voting NP. I can’t fault the seller for asking $4500 on a vehicle that should be maybe $3.5-4k - that’s just negotiating room in my book.

Am I the only one who really dislikes the broad move to big screens for everything including the dash?

I voted CP but for a possibly non-traditional reason...

From an engineering perspective and from a “I know a bit about the automotive industry” this would make me proud to own a Model Y.

I can’t imagine a worse place or car to drive nuts than downtown manhanttan right now.

Average purchase price of a new car = $36k

Things that are not driving this result:

I’m not in IT. Actually, I’m head of sales for a business line in my company. However, I spent my teenage years building desktops and having LAN parties (at cooler kids houses, to be clear) and winning building websites using Javascript in the mid 90s.

Keep on kicking ass sober.

Kristen - when the moment arrives order some Revivalist Gin and think back to Jalopnik days. You’ll thank me. Or star me. Or forget about me.

In late 2012/early 2013 I helped my father in law replace his 2008 mini cooper S 6mt (which had $7k worth of work done under warranty by 50k miles including timing chains, water pump, and turbo replacement) with a genesis coupe R 6mt. He’s now owned it 7 years, 70k miles, and I’ve driven it countless times and

We also need a provision that specifically gives the Kennedy Center $35 million for “operations and maintenance”.....cause those are the types of things leaders in a time of crisis urge their staff to fight over.

Extremely useful - the metrics being shared are very mixed up and disjointed.
