You’re also claiming the benefit of getting the pinch count up but detracting it from mine I don’t see why he wouldn’t get intentionally walked every time as a pinch hitter once he was figured out. I guess it would take longer for that to happen, but you would have given up dozens of free base runners in that time.

I think you have to take the at minimum 3 base runner per game then the chances off a bases loaded situation especially because you would have to substitute out the current batter and then sub out for the batter since he can’t field.
