I don’t think there’s any added weight, though there’s more length. However, the power ceiling is higher than the 392 by a longshot, and this car was a 6.1 hemi to begin with (which is down 80 hp on this).

for a mobility car thats cheap as hell. should be nice for someone who needs it and cant fork over the 80k for a new conversion.

Sure, why not? If I needed a second beater — and this one’s condition is almost too nice to be described that way — I’d willingly plunk down the cash. We had a Pontiac Bonneville GP with the same or similar 3800 engine that was satisfying and reliable.
