It looks funny, and is not yet the “cool” car to own. The federal government if they wanted to really help BEV’s in America should tax the crap out of Tesla for the energy they use, until the infrastructure they build is universally capable of charging all other vehicles the same way. I would much rather see Elon and

except you have to deal with the 4 banger then as well. Already known for reliability issues.

Seems like an ok looking project, but I have to say if I were in the market for a porsche I would still rather have a decade older 928S - Eurospec, but since I really don’t care much for the Jelly Beans, I suppose I am not this ad’s target audience.

Generally the vehicle I am seeing straight from the factory have no undercarriage protection out side of paint. the frames seem to get banged around and sometime the powdercoating or E Coat, whichever they use is scratched through, but not seen by the public. if they do have factory protection anything you put on over

hard to say if this would take off in the US, the Fiat 500, Scion everything really and smart cars are gone. it is not the most expensive thing and I agree it is kind of rad in it’s own little way, but once we put safety requirements on it, it will not look as good I bet, but maybe it will be better as there will be a

I mean they had computers before Apple and IBM, but they were not readily available nor useful due to size and capability. so like these examples, the old pretty much useless massive computers, not sold in volume to the public do not really identify as personal computers.

it would never have sold as evidenced by the Airflow vehicle sot he same era, but it certainly would have been interesting to see it developed. It is not as if they could not just do a front steer design, move the passengers up 12 inches and get pretty decent weight distribution compared to VW.

you might have your buddies truck checked, yes they pivoted opposite when you saw it, but the ones I drove back then had a certain MPH. which was parking speeds really where it crab crawled into tight spaces. other wise it would never really parallel park.

I am sure some VW-Estan is salivating highly over this, but even with a possible 2000 lb curb weight the 112 HP motor is likely wheezing a bit. to put it in perspective the heaviest of Harley’s still have a better power to weight ratio at 75 HP roughly. The Velour Seats kind of kill it for me though, even if the price

they will eventually move up to Zipties, Maybe if they keep it long enough they with rivet belt loops in place.

It is a hard thing to swallow at 80K, but you are right, it is really really good at what it was made to do. Ford is so sucker punched by tit they are rethinking the Turbo six mentality, even though I know a few Buick Grand Nationals that have been breathed on that are easily pushing out 800HP.

I am not sure if the sum of the parts equals the value, but in this case you pay for patina. it is pretty basic and not a lot of fun to drive, but you still kind of want to.

I recall going from Mira loma to Rancho Cucamonga and it snowed. the people actually pulled on the median so they could make snow balls.

He could go Brownell and buy a sub par BEV. he also does not go far and at least the optics would be that he cared about the environment after the last two vehicles he had. Just hopefully he will be content without a piss yellow wrap, idiotic rims and underglow from a decade ago.

Dallas can be bad, no doubt, but has nothing on LA, at least Dallas has a little space to move around. LA is jam packed with the worst mannered drivers(also Motorcycle lane splitters), the only drivers I have experienced that were worse is Monterey Mexico.

ABS won’t save you from other drivers or yourself really. it is still a massive SUV on ice, probably 2 wd with all seasons as well. if they don’t have the snow symbol they will not help much.

it probably should say driver not necessarily used to Icy road conditions, but the one factor that could be considered the root cause is the change in road condition.

but to me that is exactly the anxiety it would pose.

Lame excuse for pulling the ad, they actually botched the ad and got the back lash, so redirect the blame they go.

I guess GM needs to put up or shut up and just offe and all electric version of a
