Kind of like the radio supplied engine sounds....good point

Well they doubled down on Lucas electrics to offset the oil problems you will no longer encounter.

Sadly I suspect Norway has fewer miles of roads than Nebraska as well. But don’t fret too much, they took 30 years to tax the crap out of everyone to pay for their ev Utopia.

sadly though how much better is the 2wd Jeep Compass with equally unimpressive NA 4 cylinder? I think the thing they are banking on is actually offering a reliable (or warrantied) new car for people not making huge coin. if the goal is to get to work everyday while still being able to do a few basic cargo carrying

Early 90's in and 85 Camaro with very good snow tires. drove from Ames to Ankeny with drift 4 feet high building up on one side of the road. basically had to treat them like non moving cars and pass as best I could. actually started overheating pushing the snow on the last 50 feet down my road to my house. apparently

The good thing is that injection system could be swapped with a motor that matches the drive train. the renault era also employed a really bad french trans that this one thankfully replaced. Probably what drove him to make it 4x4 as there was probably one of David Tracy’s rust buckets providing the parts and the

with Gas powered Generators as back up.

Actually generally the gas stations near me have back up generator that can at least power the register and pump gas. I have experienced credit card systems being down, but that is not going to change at a battery station. Just the ability to actually obtain the power. solar and wind still rely on the grid to move the

Also they are just a fun car to drive. if they took away the grin inducing stuff like obscene and often unusable power at the expense of weight reduction, it will be the end of Challenger. That being said, the Giulia with American muscle would have been great, but I think they will end up doing the Plug in Hybrid and

I would say a Giuliabased 2 and 4 door Chrysler 300 replacement with the Jeep 4Xe engine and Battery combo as a base model and a scaled up E208 Puegot EV setup as the full BEV alternative. Must have 300Mile range, be able to propel the Giulia 4 door to 60MPH in 4 seconds or less and utilize the Ram centerstack in some

reliable until a storm takes out your ancient electrical grid....but yes, island nations and islands in general would be an easy sell with the reduced range anxiety.

The Fram Oil filters should probably scare you a bit. The interior is actually better than expected, but man the body on these are not good, they never were, but they have aged even worse. It is crack pipe to me at any price really.

it will be interesting to see if the changes do not spook the French into giving up the US brands. Buyers speak with there wallets and if the Peugeot and Fiat presence in the US is any indication they will be potentially giving up a lot of sales to Ford Bronco and GM/Ford Pony Cars.

in this case Ford is getting into the BEV when the going is hot. The 7500 tax credits apply to their product , but no longer to Tesla Product. so the point where he says the Mach-E feels better screwed together will probably be a deciding factor.

Dealers suck for those not doing it correctly. but I can in fact say I would definitely want to be able to test drive the exact vehicle I want to buy before I shelled out 40-80 thousand dollars. appointments, carfax reports on used stuff, and advertised pricing with over the phone purchasing options using your own

I guess I mean the drivetrain related stuff, but yeah the body and interior specific parts will become like a lot of mixed model discontinued cars.....Chrysler Crossfire for example. but the basic things will still be around because of Miata I think.

I can agree with you on warranty service. I think the appointment thing is due to poor craftmanship and not enough service people rolling around in ICE Ford Transit Connects.

One wonders, in hindsight, how differently GM might have done it.” They would have done almost nothing. At the time, the cost to develop the vehicle properly along with the Many years of non-profitability would have made the stock holders sue them three ways to Sunday.

I would have to trust you, I also loathe Doug. if i see he is attached to anything, I tend to look away. lol

Seems like a better use of an old open space than loft apartments.
