the NHTSA and possibly the CARB would also be opposed to reducing thickness and owning and working on your own vehicle.

meh, I think the pollution is just diverted and with Nat gas and Coal fired plants still around, it might be worse in some cases. Many of the modern vehicle regardless of engine size have the engine off at stop feature.
which seem really sad to me since the Fuel Efficiency of a turbo six is not nearly as good as one would expect over the V8. based upon the way people tout it, you would expect the things to be getting closer to 30 combined.
honestly I think FCA should sue for that grill....lol. other thnt he less bulging eyeballs, it seems to look a lot like the Ram Grill.
Does it come with even the basic swap kit for one of these cars? They run nearly as much as he wants for the whole car. http://www.renegadehybrids.com/944/LS-1/LS-1.html
Isn’t collision avoidance always on with these cars? Guess it just takes some wacky tobacky to disable that?
Hemmings would be one spot I would check.
Right! Send it!
That is what I was told as well, the springs in clickers wear out fast if you do not remove tension between use. I do have some seriously overpriced Snap on dial types that seem to hold their accuracy pretty well.
actually most people don’t own a torque wrench, but I would suspect that like most old school farmers the Steel cross box in the back of the truck holds most of the tools needed to fix a tractor in the field. probably including as least a basic toque wrench. whether it is calibrated is unlikely, but I still have…
In Monterrey most of the beetles were replaced with Tsuro’s in the 90's. the 1991 Nissan Sentra was the Tsuro until the late 2000's when it was updated down there.
if price is your problem then your desperation is not that much. that being said, anything with the word super before the word beetle is generally pretty cheap.
But hey, we get to look at the writers before wasting time even clicking now...unless of course it is some bicycle wrenching article that we can avoid without having to look for the writes name, then of course we can just assume it is some douche in new your that really should be writing for a sister publication, but…
That was before Erik and Ralph Orlove destroyed much of it.
it is one of three mentioned. the terrible color combo is the first and perhaps the most problematic as it would cost 10K on a good day to make that right, but then there is that rover time bomb to consider as well.
I think the idea is if everyone is being tracked then they can equally hurt everyone pocket book, or at least most of them, but lets be honest, if they can track our speed and braking and the cars are all drive by wire anyway, the next logical progression would be to limit your vehicles capabilities to the GPS…
most of the 10K versions are old Miatas, with Older 5.0 swaps. LS swaps are still pricy. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-mazda-mx-5-miata-14/
And I have no doubt that you could repaint this one Burnt orange and stuff a 400 HP LS in this once the rover thing takes a crap for far less than 70K
didn’t they make Hummers down there?
the color combo, the steering wheel on the wrong side and thus having to basically relearn to drive a stick well, and then the engine that reminds you why you run away from land rovers. All of this should make you run away and never look back. But for those of us in the states that rarely if ever see these things, I…
