What is funny is the Vortec 7400 is considered the Generation VI big block, which came out three years after the 454SS was good dead and buried which used the famed Mark IV big block with EFI (GM had to change from Mark to Generation because of conflicts with Ford).

I say nice price. You could go to the the junkyard go all David Tracy and buy a Fairmont, Futura, or a LTD, Fox Body Mustang GT suspension parts, and a LS engine and drivetrain for around what that guy is asking, but this car makes for a pretty solid foundation to start with.
