And wiring harnesses fail on ebikes even from major manufacturers. If you manufacture bikes you should have some way for customers to get repair parts easily. Most ebike riders who buy a complete bike are not going to repair their bikes on their own let alone source parts for it.

I wasn't implying that you need a hub motor tube but that the 20×3 inch tube is not commonly kept in most bike shops since it's a odd ball size

Their pretty fucking heavy. Anything with a rear hub motor usually is.

I feel the need to weigh in on this as I am a bicycle mechanic. More specifically I am my shop’s ebike mechanic. Putting a Rad ebike together is pretty easy, especially if you come from an automotive back ground. The real issue with these wide tire hub motor ebikes is when you get a flat. I think a lot of people are forgetting that if the buyer lives somewhere where it snows infrequently it’s not going to be between Awd and all season tires vs. 2wd and snow tires. It’s more than likely going to be Awd and all seasons vs. 2wd and all seasons. With the first time the buyer thinks about getting snow tires

I'll stop if it looks like they're having difficulty with the situation. I keep a lot more tools in my car then most people. But if they've got it under control, especially in bad weather I'll let them be. Nothing worse that trying to fix something on the side of the road on a rainy 34 degree day than having to stop

Neutral, short term fix buy the tooling for the 2010 forester from Subaru, throw a Cadillac emblem on the front. Long term fix- there is none
