What's your favorite iTunes Replacement? I just started dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu, and I don't want to try and get iTunes working on Ubuntu. Ideally it would be something that works in both Linux and Windows.

@njl1: nice. but are you sure about that last one?

@elwombato: I'm married to a former barrista... wrapping the string is how it's done.

I would def. upgrade if I still had 2003. I like the ribbon UI, especially for powerpoint it's much better.

    Snap !

+1 for librivox. been using them for a while. now time to check out booksshouldbefree.

just started using [slacker.com] and, as an experiment, i created a station with the same source artists and songs as one i created on pandora a while ago.

@9house: If you have GV set to forward caller ID as well, Verizon will see it as a mobile-to-mobile call and not charge you. But it will charge the other person, since they're dialing a non-vzw number

@Mike Shyu: No, I've only ever had it ringing my cell anyway.

Wow, this is great! I'll never have to call my AT&T vm again! It definitely tacks on a few rings (I counted 8 total rings before GV picks up), but hopefully that means I'll only get voicemails from people who really want to talk to me!

@thevolumebutton: I'm a die-hard Dvorak typist and have been for about three years now. I absolutely love it. Your fingers move much less than touch-typing QWERTY. And I had never really learned to correctly type QWERTY, I just did this hybrid fast two-finger thing, so Dvorak has also afforded me the benefits of touch
