Setting aside the hyperventilation of the first reactions quoted above... I saw the trailer for this movie before GotG3, and after years of hearing about how fun the series is I think that was the push needed to make me want to take the plunge. So, speaking as someone who’s seen a grand total of one (1) MI movie so

Maybe I’m in the minority on this, but I just don’t see the need for a dark, adult-pitched Scooby Doo (without the titular canine, yet). It’s like, why are you even using the trappings of the franchise at that point, anyway?
