Hispanic is an ethnicity. Whether you consider an Argentinian or a Cuban to be from the same culture or not, they both come from the same shared ethnic tradition. It’s not merely a coincidence that they both speak Spanish, there’s a reason they both speak Spanish.

Why? Hispanic is not a nationality, it’s an ethnicity. 47 million American citizens are Hispanic. A white person can be bilingual, but I didn’t mean white people who spoke Spanish. I meant Hispanics who are trying to pull the ladder up behind them.
