Pretty much what I was thinking. The privileged few get to live in their perfect Star Trek society, and everyone else is left behind to degrade into a Mad Max style of life.

Unfortunately it seems that Elysium, in other words Star Trek for a few and Mad Max for everyone else, is becoming the more likely scenario.

I hate admitting it as a diehard Boston fan... but he deserved those awards. He was the Canadiens this season- it seemed like every time they struggled, he just took them on his shoulders and won games for them.

In real life any prof who pulled that stunt would be slapped down so hard by the dean he’d have trouble getting a reference for a burger flipping job.

My bio anthro professor did the same thing. I applaud that, even as a Christian, because ITS FUCKING TRUE.

Well my Intro to Biology proffessor did walk into class on the first day and say that evolution is a necessary component of every aspect of this subject and if you don’t believe it exists you might as well walk out the door right now because he has nothing to teach you.

Oh my god this is hilarious. I am literally one of the “liberal professors” they’re talking about, as in I literally teach diversity classes to undergrads, and you’re not allowed to say ANY of that stuff to students. You can’t say shit about their parents, their religion, or their personal opinions unless you enjoy…
