It just occurred to me that if the end result of all this might be a number of treason convictions then we may be seeing some very high profile federal executions. For some reason this seems totally crazy to me.

Why not a “middle-out” model. Best odds go to the 6,7 and 8 seeds and whatever team just missed in each conference. Odds decrease at an equal rate out to the extremes at each end. Seems like that would incentivize teams at each level of success correctly.
