I literally just moved my mattress on the top of my car haha... spent an hour tieing that shit down to make sure this didn’t happen. Was still nervous the whole hour I had on a highway and over the tappan zee bridge... key is to tie down the front I think. Gives you some downforce I think?!

$. Lots of it.

Completely agree... these places that allow you to get behind the wheel of a brand newish ferrari for $150 for 3 laps really scare me and I would never instruct at an event like that. Classroom sessions focusing on safety and physics of driving theory are a must. Typically on a student’s first day if he has a manual

You should see the prices of some of the chopped up 911s on bring a trailer. Throw a 964 engine in their and more modern brakes and suspension components and it could go for 200k if you do it right...

AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! So much rust! Much respect to you for putting in the effort to save it from the scrap yard!

I’m not entirely confident who or what would die if you tried to “beat the hell” out of it... just saying that thing looks about as safe as having a turbo exposed next to your face and a pumping hot radiator above your head

There are numerous hard top options. I’m also 6'1", haven’t had issues with a helmet in any of the versions I’ve tried.

The slushbox really kills it though...

997 based racecars, like ex conti challenge, also a great buy... if you’re into that

That looks like a blast! My father always had a set of snows to put on his 993 C4S, never had a problem getting around in the winters in the northeast.

This looks fun! Wonder how long the races will be without any updates to the battery. Why isn’t this the support race for formula e? Seems like that would make sense to follow them around and make use of their city courses.

Home surgery?

While I am an avid fan of the e39 m5, the wood on all bimmers is always miserable. Brushed aluminum all day.

Not gonna lie, I love these commercials. Honestly, it’s always some wierd shit that you never expect. Like the one where he’s by himself and jumps into the pool with all his clothes on. It never makes any sense and leaves you utterly confused at the end, not to mention they don’t say a damn word about the car. I guess

I saw one at Sebring last year, lots of rubbing from the bumps, maybe they’re better on smooth pavement? Probably not better than how it was originalky engineered and set up stock...

I was thinking that’s why he may have opted for the non-sunroof donor roof... probably adds a little rigidity!

So much fun to be had...

How do I get out of the greys after years of commenting?

This doesn’t bother me if it was a short trip. My mom regularly put in the back of an RS America for trips less than a few miles to school or something like that. Same situation as a corvette small storage below the rear glass...
