The Paralympic video posted earlier in the week was inspiring because of it's narrative of redemption and overcoming. This post is inspiring because of the drive and attitude of someone who won't get a chance at either of those things. Both posts make me want to be better at everything that I do. Thanks, Barry.

I don't think it's a conspiracy, and I'm even willing to accept the statement they released. But people do say things for exposure's sake, hence https://twitter.com/celebboutique/status/226369632154570752

I think that the NRA stands in solidarity with the 99.99999999999% of gun owners who were not involved in this tragedy. James Holmes - absolutely not. My point had nothing to do with my feelings on gun control or gun owners, but more about the motivations of the NRA regarding publicity.

So bad. +1

The screenshot says 6:20 am, but I have to imagine that is set to Pacific time. In Slate's timeline of events, they have the tweet going up at 9:20am, and I said it had been up for 3 hours because when I saw the tweet (as well as a Follow Friday tweet they posted that has also been deleted) it was around 12ish, and

Like I said before, "just as, if not more, likely" it was not a scheduled post. I'm not the NRA Rifleman, so.

It was up for at least 3 hours. I would really like it to have been a scheduled post, but I don't think it was.

Maybe. But the NRA feeds off of discussion (argument) on the subject of guns. I think it's just as, if not more, likely that this tweet was sent for exposure.

Just awful.

Ha!

You guys are both wrong. The license plate is supposed to say "I Love Trope" because the driver is a headline writer for ESPN Mobile.
