Yes, but you wouldn't be able to get a curve that way. Just a block amount of work done. The way they get the curve is to measure the acceleration of the roller, which is equal to the torque output at the wheels.
Yeah, as was usual for the late 70s/early 80s the American bumpers were not becoming..
Electric motors typically have peak torque available from 0 RPM. But that also means that it would have very low HP at that RPM. You can do the math.
e21 is the code for the first 3 series, which this is not. Not sure what it's code is but it ain't no e21!
Yeah, there's certainly tons of speculation on my part. For his sake, I hope he didn't rev his engine on purpose. If he did he's probably going to face some criminal action.
I agree if he had no malicious intent. But spraying him with dirt (which is my assumption of what he was trying to do) is malicious and, key to my particular argument, is that the race was under yellow. Under yellow there should be no reason to rev your motor and trying to spray him with dirt is reckless and every…
Wouldn't be surprised to see manslaughter out of this one. Even if he didn't mean to hurt him, he still did. And this isn't even involuntary manslaughter, Tony's gone and fucked up this time...
Look at the equation and tell me how something (anything!) could produce "max HP at 0 RPM." OK Joe Fucktard.
heh, you need to take a physics class. Dynomometers measure torque and through a simple calculation (torque x RPM / 5252) finds HP. This applies to electric motors and combustion engines.
Never too much hood.
I do like Jags of that vintage. But something about E38s with the sport package just do it for me:
Russell, last name as well. Everybody was known by their last name. Typical.
yeah, Willard Pl. Right behind the Snoopys on Hillsborough. It was a crazy laid out house. I had to walk through a bathroom to get to my room. Two TVs in the upstairs living room, one for GT3, the other for Cable.
makes sense, thanks. :)
hah, that's funny. Yeah, we've probably met before. Loftis was my roommate at State. Still see Ferrell and Marshall pretty frequently..
So how's it fooling it again? When you do have a transmission you pick a gear with a 1:1 gearing (or as close as possible). If you don't have a transmission isn't that exactly 1:1 then?
First, I used to go to the Old Bar all the time from about 2003-2005. My roommate was a bartender there. I'd give him $20 at the end of the night and walk my happy ass back home. My car got broken into in that parking lot once. Luckily they only stole my CDs, no hope for those Credence Tapes...
So now it's changed from p/h (peckers/hour) to kp/h. I assume that's Kilometers per / hour (read: Kilometers per per hour)? Come on Raph, you're better than this.
The current top speed of the Slide Liner is just 20 p/h, so there's some work that's needed to make this ideal for F1. Still, as WTF1 points out, how great would this be next to Eau Rouge?
