Haha, yeah, I've been saying that for years (the added weight part)! They added weight to the regular Corolla and then called it a sport. Just another reason why I wouldn't ever buy a Toyota product.

Yeah, that could be too. But, the S model does at least look moderately better than the normal Corolla...

I'm pretty sure the "S" stands for "Shiny."

haha, I missed it too.

Yep, EUR/USD has been holding pretty steady over the past 5 years from $1.20 - $1.50 = 1 Euro. Not sure why everybody is freaking out over the exchange rate...

Now that's a good idea... That would be cutting off their balls in a metaphorical sense. :)

The point is that not only can Americans travel much more easily from one state to another, we actually do it on a regular basis. We drive all over the place and we haul stuff while doing it. There's no stopping between state lines, we just blast right on through. Passport? Who needs 'em? So the point is that

Yeah, unless he wasn't recording at the time. There's got to be more than what's on the video. Certainly they weren't just being dicks for the sake of it.
If they were just being dicks then they all need their license and bikes taken away. Maybe even cut off their balls just for good measure.

People on bikes have right of way? I think not. They must obey the rules of the road just like any motorist. Pedestrians generally have right of way in most cities (possibly not NYC though :) ).

If I'm the driver of that Range Rover I'm doing the exact same thing he did once everything comes to a stop.

I hope you're right. But your comment tells it all. F1 will demand that whole route be repaved with their special German asphalt. They'll have to smooth intersections, put up some serious Armcos, and finish that fancy pit section.
They have plenty of time, it's the money I'm worried about...

You are only proving my point.
Seattle, WA to Miami, FL is 3300-3400 miles, depending on route and all in one country.
Lisbon, Portugal to Istanbul, Turkey is 2500-2600 miles and you'll cross 9 countries.

No chance this race is going to happen...

Yeah, I figured that getting Murphy into the comparison wasn't really fair since it's kind of out of the way and not too easy to get to. Asheville to the Outer Banks is almost all 4-lane divided highway these days.

That's really the whole point. It's fine to have small cars when you can travel from country to country in a couple hours and a long trip consists of a 3 hour drive to the Lakes District.

Q: And how many torques did it produce with that 7.3L diesel?

Ford Focus Hatchback.

I totally agree, people are always touting how nice Toyotas are. No, they aren't nice. The build quality is shit, they aren't good looking, and they have fewer useful options than their competition...

The chances of this happening are low, but as Mythbusters says, it could happen at least a few times around the world, as more of us are using microwaves to make cups of tea and more. While making tea in a microwave isn't ideal because you can't control the temperature, if you need to use the microwave instead of a
