Extra cost for diesel is only due to local and state taxes. Some states D2 is cheaper than RUG. Diesel in Ontario is considerably cheaper than 87 octane gas...

I know 2010+ Golf could be had in a TDI with 6-spd manual (this is what I drive). But I think they offered the manual 6-spd in the Jetta from 2009+? Maybe.. I'm not sure.

Yeah.. I think old M. J. Fox is on the camera for this one.

GT-R is comparatively mundane. I agree with you, if the prices were the same I'd buy the Juke-R over the GT-R, purely for the look on people's faces.

I'd call it not street legal.

The Juke-R is the only reason I respect the Juke at all. I used to hate the Juke, I thought it was ugly and too small to be anything functional. After seeing the Juke-R I now think that all Jukes are actually kinda cool in a strange sort of way. I realize that normal Jukes are pretty shitty, but it changed my view

Considering somebody was filming at just the right time I'm gonna say this wasn't his first dunk in that pool...

Bug = Bugatti in this case

You are correct, sir. Hydrogen as an energy source sounds good until you find out how the hydrogen is produced to begin with and how much energy it takes just to produce it. It is so energy negative that it just doesn't make any sense. That along with the cost (and dangers) of the infrastructure to transport and

Hydrogen car? sheesh... talk about pointless.

Look like they are at least 18", I'd say 20" judging by the low profile tires. The X5 is not a small vehicle.

When's the last time you saw a diesel with no turbos? Turbos are implied at this point...

I don't know about Banks Tuning the trucks now and whether they are as amenable (or more) than previous years. But, these new diesels are robust and can run for years. You could have easily gotten 800 lb-ft out of the old diesels from a decade ago with a tune, but I can't comment on their longevity when they are

I truly hate Kinja and will blame it for you not knowing that I posted essentially the same thought about 5 minutes ago. Click "Expand Conversation" or whatever it is and you'll see the numbers of all the big 3 trucks.

Here's some numbers for MY2012 diesel trucks:

Seems like an awfully big engine for only 550 lb-ft...

I kinda like Cleveland Steamers...

That commentary to open up the video is priceless...

That makes sense. I never thought about how they would re-import it to the originating country. Obviously the lesson is don't mess with VINs..

That's fine, but don't call the guy doing his job (and doesn't have anything to do with making laws) a dickhead. I find it distasteful to go after law enforcement just for doing their job.
