Yup, you are not wrong about lowered trucks here in Houston. I’m pretty sure I’m literally the only ‘lifted’ (level kit) truck in my school parking lot; everyone else is either stock or lowered. Personally, I think Ford should do a lowered version of the Maverick. I’ve seen pictures of them, and they look good

Certainly more polite than what San Franciscans did to BMW's and Mercedes in the 90's

Yep, agreed. I think after lower 6-digits, the performance/price curve goes off a cliff.

Instead, as Safe Street Rebel notes, there will be a California Public Utilities Commission meeting July 13 at 11 a.m., and it is the perfect venue for citizens to voice their concerns.

Incorrect, I can think a car is over rated without having driving it.

My boss had a 74 Super Duty. Now that was a car that doesn’t need to be on the list. He drove that thing for a long time before the combination of paying for gas and rear tires put him in the poor house.

I could not agree more. There is nothing more pointless than a Billionaire’s wheeled codpiece. Unusable on the street, unusable on the track, and these days not even particularly attractive usually. Completely, and utterly pointless other than making a statement about how big your wallet-peen is.

Absolutely agree with you about all the modern Mopars, especially the hell kittens. I drive a '20 M5 competition and literally hunt these felines. So overated on the street. From a dig I can put a tractor trailer length on one and be at 100 plus before that thing hits 70. Useless real-world power.

Every single supercar or hypercar ever.

Don’t care. I will always adore that car, with the screaming chicken ofc.

I was surprised when the Hellcats first came out that everyone was making such a fuss about them. The GT500 was making 662hp in ‘13 and ‘14, posted similar or faster 0-60 and quarter mile times as the Hellcat, handled better, and was 100% manual only. Why was everyone freaking out about some big boat that brought

I had a 76 Firebird, beat the crap out of it and it came back for more.

Right they get held up as some holy grail, mostly because at least in the Skyline were unobtanium here for so long, but I have long held it’s the ENGINE not the car as the reason they are so revered.

This take and the Supra take are both correct. It’s not that Supras and Skylines are bad cars, just that they are absolutely 100% not the end-all-be-all so many people make them out to be.

Oh I am gonna get burned at the stake for this, but Nissan GTR, R34 and earlier.  It’s not that it’s not a good car, from everything I have heard people say about them they are in fact good cars.  But IMO, their main claim to fame, aside from Gran Turismo, is you can tune the literal hell out of them and make monster

If blocking a vehicle with a cone gives Waymo the legal right to prosecute, then I should be able to prosecute the hell out of the Virginia Department of Transportation.

No, Waymo, this is not vandalism. There’s no damage being done. It’s making a point that driverless cars aren’t as smart as you think they are, and they’re doing their part to keep these cars off the road (at least temporarily) where they shouldn’t have been in the first place.

It was caught on camera

This is a dumb feature. I stopped stalling my car after the first day/hour of driving stick.

I love my Amazon prime membership. The amount of content it offers me on the digital streaming platform is fantastic.
