They seem to equate science and politics, basically, which makes them believe not just that science can be questioned (which is true) but that it can be questioned by just any asshole with an opinion (which isn’t). Science can be questioned and overturned by better science.

Science, including the science of covid vaccinations, can absolutely be questioned. But doing so requires actual work and evidence gathering, not just reading some anti-vax talking points and bitching on national tv. If Rodgers isn’t prepared to do the work, he should shut up and trust the people who have.

Rodgers didn’t lie about being vaccinated, he lied about being “immunized”. That was clearly a lie, because he caught the fucking virus!

Clearly the only reasonable reaction, should this bill fail to pass due to the seemingly inevitable complete Republican intransigence, will be to fail to elect a Dem majority large and committed enough to pass a worthwhile slate of legislation.

I don’t often agree with you, but this could actually be the strategy.
