Ray, you somehow ignored the Toronto collapse in the playoffs vs Boston a few years ago.....I can’t imagine how delicious it will be every time they have a late lead against the Bruins to see their fans melting into puddle of goo.

Yes, history is likely to repeat itself because two franchises won 62 games a couple of decades apart.

Lost was an atrocious show. Every single riddle or “cliffhanger” was completely abandoned in the next episode and often not returned to ever again (as you more or less note in the write up here). That doesn’t make a show good or clever — it makes it supremely lazy and gimmicky. Never answering anything or

Ken would still be playing if he didn’t lay down.

And he smiles like a serial killer who doesn’t understand how smiles work.

and just as Dwyane Wade did his by being one of the best NBA players of all time,

He actually thinks it’s funny.

Literally the same day, the Pirates team account tweeted a mashup of Archer prancing and celebrating on the field and said “Let the kids play.”

The NHL didn’t need to do this because it’s not like the NBA where you know the top seeds are advancing almost no matter what. In the NHL, the 5-8 seeds advanced all the time when it was 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc. And yes, you shouldn’t have to play the top seeds until later so that worked well. Typical of the NHL, they

I’m a Rangers fan and if you look at their season-by-season records, you’ll see some ‘80s teams that had 20-something wins, 40-something losses.....and made the playoffs as the fourth seed in the Patrick division. And sometimes won! So yeah, I feel your pain, playing in the Smythe during that era.

Dear god, sometimes I love stupid people.

When I was a kid and learning to play, my dad said “If you cheat at golf, you cheat at life.” I’ve always remembered that and it utterly disgusts me when I play with a completely unrepentant cheater.

I mean, maybe I’m just old, but that green and the “Jets” on the helmet reminds me of the Kenny O’Brien days. Might as well embrace it, Jets.

The Chargers “left” but they moved, what? 100 miles? Anyone not covering or still supporting them just doesn’t want to.

If it’s true that Dundon is covering payroll on a week to week basis and vendors aren’t getting paid, then it’s not doing fine at all.

I completely expected this to be like the posts where you invite people to share their fantasy football stories and then have the comments turned off.

I mean, of course David was impressed — it started and was driveable. He’s not used to this.

You need to watch again. He doesn’t “thrust” his leg at all and the contact was hip to hip and actually knocks Edwards’ backwards. As a number of former players said on Twitter and TV last night, that’s a foul every time. Sorry about your bracket, though.

Interestingly—and I’m convinced this isn’t a huge phenomenon yet but it could be later—some buyers are so fed up with truck prices they’re actually moving back into sedans:
