I don’t get the hate for the tailgate. It’s an advancement and one that should have come long before now.

Glad you said this. I hate comments like that because it’s something someone who doesn’t like cars or know anything about cars would say. 

I had a 2010 Silverado with the V8 and cylinder deactivation and on highway trips I’d get 18-21 MPG. I now have a 2016 GMC Canyon with the V6 and I get maybe 22-24 on highway trips (20-21 on a typical tank). And despite the Canyon being way more realistic for everyday use and the V6 being plenty brawny, I still miss…

Sanity aside, there are people who love the idea of a truck but feel guilty about commuting in a V8. Some of those people will buy the 4 and I feel sad for them.

I loved Edgar as a hitter but there is no case for him as a HOFer. He wasn’t a HOFer when he played so why are we all nostalgic about him now?
