Easy solution: Take those 2 minutes off the 10minutes they spend selling me tru-coat, and dealer add-on accessories.

Depends on the dealer. Some places (CarMax) pay their staff salaries as part of their “low pressure sales environment” shtick and give incentives on a per-car basis. Some dealers (like the one I worked at) were pretty much 100% commission, unless your commission was less than minimum wage.

I mean think of it this way, WalMart is providing the transportation, cost of that transportation goes up so they charge that cost to the producer.

Then he went and got a sweet turbo tattoo...

Wanna feel old? The “pretty sure it’s a Lambo” happened 13yrs ago in 2009.

Around 2017 or so, at a display for a Pagani Huayra, there was a guy who was providing security for the car who was offering (only) young women the opportunity to sit in “his car” and take selfies. The reason I was pretty sure he was only security was first, the “security” printed on the back of his t-shirt and then

In 2002, Subaru began selling the WRX in the USA. This was a really big deal at the time, since Subaru had resisted importing the WRX for a very long time. The punchy turbocharged engine was an especially big draw. I saw one at the annual auto show and distinctly remember some bros opening the hood and pointing to the

Or they’ll buy the Titan at a discount, like they already were.

...or at the least, shoppers would be expecting a deal. FWIW, I owned a 2019 Titan and it was a great truck.

The info didn’t come from corporate, it was leaked from an anonymous source.

This is big news. It feels like too often, we are talking about how much people are paying for cars, when the real story is for people that aren’t. If you *need* a running car right now and don’t have one, you have never been more over a barrel.

Ok Celine Dion, you’re up

Uh, no the don’t! EVs have historical depreciated faster than comparable ICE vehicles, just look at all the cheap Nissan Leafs, Mitsubishi iMiEVs, Fiat 500Es, Chevrolet Bolts, Ford Focus Electrics etc.

Teslas, and Teslas specifically, had great residuals well before gas prices and car prices started going up. In the example given, a residual of a little over $8k on a $43k car after 5 years is likely fine.

Yeah this just doesnt make any financial sense. With the big auto makers getting into making more mainstream EVs, the prices are going to come down as the adoption rate goes off. This only works if gas stays crazy high and the car holds its value extremely well.

I had to go look it up. It’s even coming to the US.  I was mildly interested until I saw an estimated price range of $40k to $50k.

The Toyota GT3 concept looks like it was literally built on the RX-vision:

Famous Asshole: “Hey, look at this funny thing I found, 95 million followers.”

So with guayale, you 1) grow American, 2) it thrives in the dry heat and we’ve certainly got that aspect in spades nowadays, 3) uses much less water for a given unit of harvested rubber, 4) avoids carbon costs from material hauling so wow: that’s win-win-win-win.

needs to be a national law. not just HD trucks. big fat ass evs that go over 6k need to take the hit too. they dont deserve a break on the weight. and make each addition 500lbs over the 6000 another 1000$. you get to waive the fee if you have a CDL and use your truck for work.
