A few months ago I saw stick on vortex generators on both a Camry and Altima, along with other boy-racer modifications. This was before gas prices exploded, so I think it was just because the owners thought it looked cool. Problem is, the Altima had the vortex generators mounted backwards SMH

BUY IT

Perhaps you’ll see something I did not when looking at the photo above, but both myself and fellow staff writer Lillian Stone confirmed that there was no pink to be found in the center of this meaty monster

How is Henrik Fisker still making news? Fisker Inc. came about in 2016 after Fisker Automotive failed and was bought by Wanxiang Group in 2014. And what about VLF Automotive in the interim? Did they produce any cars?

We’ve always been in Mazdas.

Yeah, I understand that Mazda was annoyed because they couldn’t figure our how VW was able to get their TDI to pass emissions without urea injection...until we all learned that VW didn’t actually pass emissions. I don’t know why Mazda didn’t pull the plug once Dieselgate happened, why waste another 4 years of R&D?

Both are great examples, but before my time (I was born in 1989) so they weren’t top of mind.

Thank you for having the courage to share your upbringing, Elizabeth.

My wife and I had considered a first generation Chevy Bolt as a commuter car to replace my 2014 Mazda3 Sport. When we saw one at the Toronto Auto Show I hopped in the driver’s seat to try it out and immediately thought, ‘these seats are terrible!

The Mazda3 does not offer an engine with 181 hp

A&W in Canada just came out with a new “Best Burger Ever” burger that includes three fried pickles on it, along with sautéed onions, garlic aioli, and cheddar cheese on a prime rib patty, all in a brioche bun.

Yo, Rob Dahm, now is the time to get all the parts you might need to get working on the 4-rotor C8 swap

My money is on Hagerty

Ferritic, Martensitic and Duplex stainless steels can be magnetic.

Stainless steel is rust-resistant, not rust-proof.

Regarding the Kia Soul: In the US at least, you get a 201 hp 1.6L turbo 4-cylinder and DCT transmission on the top trim. In Canada all trim levels make due with the same boring 147 hp 2.0L mated to a CVT. Yes, they charge nearly $30,000 CDN for 147 hp and a CVT

My dad started taking me out of school to go to the Toronto Auto Show when I was in grade 4, and I’ve only missed 3 years since (not counting COVID cancelling it for another 2 years).

So someone is slogging through old Jalopnik list articles, converting them to slideshows and subbing in more modern pictures (comments are from 2015 but the JL Wrangler wasn’t unveiled until 2017)?
