I doubt GM would cancel the Colorado/Canyon, they sell way too many of them and are shifting to a truck/SUV heavy lineup.

What has me shocked over GM’s decision to kill Holden is that the current Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon only exist because the 2012+ Holden Colorado was already in GM’s portfolio. Sure, it was rejigged for North America and built locally, but GM was able to sell a viable answer to the Tacoma thanks to Holden.

Did that dog lose a bet? Is there another reason for why it looks so...uhh...ugly, there isn’t really a better word. Why do people insist on making poodles look so silly?

I REALLY like that Peacock Green Metallic. It reminds me of the green/blue pearl paints Mazda and GM offered in the 2000s. I wish more fun colours were offered like that.

It might have. The image comes for a blog article published by Corksport, a company that makes performance products for Mazdas. They might have sourced once from a wrecking yard to conduct R&D for a high performance exhaust manifold.

I’d wager that I6 head design is for turbos, either a single twin-scroll or two single-scroll units. Mazda has been using their crazy looking tri-Y exhaust manifold on their naturally aspirated SkyActiv-G engines to enhance scavenging and cylinder cooling to permit high compression ratios.

It wasn’t trash, but I will concede it had some teething issues when it unveiled the turbo MZR DISI engine and AWD drivetrain. A dealership technician admitted to me that the CX-7 exhibited problems more often, even though it had the same drivetrain and a lower state of tune than the MS6.

I’ve seen that pic before but it just occurred to me that the top speed of 88 MPH was set by “DOC B” and there are flaming tire tread marks on the asphalt, just like in Back To The Future.

Or people with loud cars/bikes could rev their engines to set new scores on the dB display and reset the time.
