So in place of a warranty that the F&I salesperson would normally charge me a couple grand for, I now get ~$200 worth of oil changes? Wow, thanks VW!

This looks like the physical manifestation of a stock ‘pump and dump’. Throw a big show with cars and stars to convince idiots the company has a future, then once you have their money you gut the company and Steve Saleen makes out like a bandit.

I could barely believe my eyes when saw a genuine R63 AMG in Oshawa, Ontario a few months ago. Supposedly there were just 5 R63s sold in Canada!

Collecting the poop is all well and good, but what about the pee? It’s scientifically impossible (maybe, I’m just guessing) to make a #2 without at least a little #1 dribbling out. Did the Whirlpool bags collect the urine?

I agree almost completely, except for the Veilside kit. The RX-7 is so beautiful stock, that the only cosmetic alterations should be subtle changes like different bumpers or a hood to get that OEM+ look.. People should be banned from cutting these things up to make wide body versions.

I really enjoy my 2014 Mazda 3, but I’d been thinking that when the time comes to replace it, I would be between a new Soul Red Crystal Mazda 3 Sport 6MT (6MT AWD if it ever happens) or a Peacock Green VW Golf Sportwagen 6MT AWD. Hopefully the MK8 Sportwagen still comes to Canada.

Did y’all know Steven Seagal has an energy drink called Lightning Bolt?

The only way the hatch could have been made better is if the glass slid down into the hatch to improve ventilation while driving.

As much as I want a new Speed3 to exist, you’re right. It’s too much money for them to piss away on a car that won’t sell in great enough numbers to pay for its own development.

2nd Gear: For anyone wondering (I sure was), 95 grams of CO2/km is equal to 4.1L/100km or 57.4 MPG(US)! I know they have a more optimistic testing cycle in Europe, but I can understand why automakers are concerned about sales and profitability if 95% of what they sell has to be that efficient next year or else they

You may have just sold me on getting some New Balance shoes. It’s such a pain in the ass having to find a new pair of shoes that fit comfortably, and usually they fit different after a couple days of wearing them (too tight on baby toe, cause blisters on the back side of ankles, too snug with different socks) and you

IIRC, the first gen Insight came stock with the S2000 steering wheel.

The team was disqualified because their fuel tanks held 0.1% more fuel than they were allowed to? That’s ridiculous, because the tank’s capacity probably changes by more than that just due to thermal expansion.

My wife always complained that vans are lame and said she prefers trucks like her dad’s Suburban. I then proceeded to show her that a Grand Caravan has more space than a Suburban in almost all configurations, in addition to being cheaper/more fuel efficient/better riding.

The 2019 Mazda 6 GT with the 2.5T has an MSRP of $29,995 and is basically as quick as a 2.0T G70 or a S80 T6, which were recommended by David Tracy and Raphael Orlove even though they exceed the $30,000 budget (the S80 by a huge margin).

Bare in mind that SkyActiv came out in North America in 2012, so it’s already 7 years old and when compared to other similar sized cars from 2012 with 2.0L engines and manual or automatic transmission, it was beating them in fuel economy without making them give up any power or torque. When the second generation of

The 250hp 2.5T is the standard commuter car tune, so Mazda might unveil a more potent version for sportier cars much the same way they did with the DISI 2.3T in the CX-7 (244hp) and MS3/MS6 (263/274hp).

Mazda offers the Sky-G 2.5T with 250hp, we’re just waiting for them to drop it into the 3 since it’s exclusive to the 6/CX-5/CX-9 right now. They’re also working on an inline 6 that could be really exciting.

I can get 36.2 MPG on the drive to and from the cottage with gentle driving (50 MPH average speed, very light traffic). However my normal commute has a lot more traffic driving in and out of Toronto, plus I took the stock 16" wheels off and put on 18" summer tires, which probably hurt fuel economy (and ride) quite a
