I heard that the new XT6 will just be a stretched XT5 with 3 rows, even down to a nearly identical interior. Honestly, it’s pathetic that it’s taken Cadillac since February 2016 for them to just stretch an existing vehicle into a three row. That’s worse even than Lexus taking 26 months to announce a stretched RX three

VW totally missed the opportunity to be open about this issue and blame all their past reliability issues on pre-production cars.

Not that I’m in the market for a new car, but I was curious what kind of deals were available in Canada on the Regal TourX. I did some searching on autotrader.ca and couldn’t find a single one for sale. Then I hopped on buick.ca and couldn’t find any information listed about the TourX. Turns out, Buick, in their

The High Country’s grill looks better, but what is with the oversized ornate chrome wheels? They’re atrocious!!! This is 2018, nearly 2019, and GM is using wheel trends from back in 2002.

I have a slight modification for Orlove’s. I just want to confirm to people that yes, this is still the same truck, it’s not a stack of trucks that went through a crusher at a scrapyard.

I believe Kyree S. WIlliams is somewhat correct, it does allow companies to use the same rear doors for sedans and hatches if they choose (not all do, see the new Mazda 3 and the current Civic). I think the more likely reason however is that more “tumblehome” (steeply raked rear window) is for aerodynamic/fuel economy

I have a 2014 Mazda 3 hatch and the shoulder check visibility is just as bad. However, I’d say a fair number of cars nowadays all have terrible visibility with the proliferation of rising belt lines.

Maybe Trump was hinting at scrapping the Chicken Tax? I’m sure the Detroit 3 lobby hard to keep that tax in place because it effectively shelters them from global competition in their most profitable sector, trucks. Perhaps Trump wants to open the floodgates to interesting small and midsize trucks from around the

Agreed. Car and Driver reported that it’s the same wheelbase as a Pilot, they just chopped ~6.5" off the rear overhang, tossed the third row seat and gave it ~0.75" lift. It’s a softroader through and through.

If you need more proof that making good cars isn’t enough, look at Mazda’s line up, and then look at their sales volume. They’re fantastic cars that the average consumer largely ignores.

The fact that almost all of the newly doomed cars recently had refreshes or planned updates for 2019 tells me GM wasn’t managing their model lines very well and all that money poured into those updates was wasted.

Actually, I just realized Chrysler’s entire (two car) line up is built in Ontario, Canada

Which happens to be built in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

I can’t watch the video because I’m at work, but why does the McLaren accelerate harder (steeper line) after the 6 second mark until the 8 second mark? The only thing I can think of is ‘boost by gear’.

First gear: Given that China has such vast quantities and global mining rights to cobalt, lithium and rare earth metals - all critical for the production of electric vehicles - it just makes sense that they would also expedite manufacturers in the adoption of EVs. They have a monopoly on the raw materials, so they

Canada offers the Nissan Micra Cup series

My 2014 Mazda 3 Sport GS 2.0L 6sp w/ 77000km = ~10000GBP/$17160CAD

That’s unfortunate for the boutique Canadian car builder, but they had a Kickstarter style fundraiser that offered “special” hats and t-shirts, plus a custom T-Rex. The funding goal was $14M!
