My sales guy at my dealer knows the two rules for my new cars. No dealer branding anywhere, and no front plate mount. He always tosses the mount in the trunk and makes sure the detail shop leaves their stickers and plate brackets in the box.

I have B5. I never get tired of looking at it. And I get compliments on it weekly. My new Challenger is going to be f8 though.

Add this in to them removing the apps from essentially all smart-tv ecosystems.

We all like the options and I definitely like the FCA “Have it your way” options lists (I benefited from that quite a bit). And I know its been done for years. BMW though usually holds back specific options that make it easier to differentiate (and I am not a BMW expert).

It is brilliant money wise, but terrible for branding. There is nothing exclusive about getting the SRT now from a looks perspecitve. Granted when you put your foot down they will know what motor, but now if I see one I have to rattle through this process (especially on the charger):

I’m with you on the “suprisingly not bad” bit. For some reason it kinda works for reasons unknown to me.

That is the one problem with the Dodge brand right now. Before 2017 hit, you had to have the SRT motor to get the SRT look on the Charger, now you can get the 5.7 Daytona and get the same SRT treatment.

You mean this? Been around for quite a while.

So a new steering wheel design and frame-less rearview mirror. Heated steering wheel. And a revised version of the new UConnect Capacitive system.

The dealers are generally pretty good about installing them correctly around here if they install them. I just have noticed the past year or so with the new design of the charger and 300 that they seem to not be installing them for the customers.

If they use the factory mount, none. If they dont bother with the $5 piece of plastic, then all of them. It actually seems to be a trend for dealers to not install the front plates at all around me, even though they are required. I haven’t seen a new 300 or Charger with the front plate installed yet. Very odd.

It happens more than it should. I was on a flight a few months ago and the Flight attendant made numerous announcements saying not to do it because of the deboarding problems later. People were still doing it as she watched them (and then called them out on it). She was getting frustrated.

Sometimes the lounge stays are not planned. I use them when layovers are delayed or cancelled and I am rescheduled. I also use them since I prefer to be the last one on when flying, even though I have platinum status.

It is weird. I travel quite a bit for work as well as vacation and its mostly in the upper classes or early boarding groups. While I sometimes enjoy being one of the first ones on and getting settled, it is also annoying. Everyone looks at you (even if they are trying to avoid it), you get knocked around by everyone

I’m curious to know what is going on with the Ram Rebels. Around me, I have seen more on the used car lot then I have in owners hands on the road.

Friends have a new GMC Acadia. I had to actually stare at the icons to figure out which is which. Other than that, its infinitely better than CUE operationally (Real buttons!)

Automotive News also reports that although CUE is being upgraded, Cadillac won’t be bringing back buttons and switches. Guess the fingerprint-covered touchscreen is here to stay.”

Generally pretty lucky when it comes to flying, however one airline hub loves to mess with me. Its not really a horror story, but its amusing to say the least.

You don’t publish medical records. Ever. I don’t care who you are. You can get the info second hand from a nosy gossip nurse, but you don’t go publishing the documents. That is bad ethics, I don’t care if you are currently protected via case law.

This honestly doesn’t surprise me. As someone who has been in the magazine business for years with a company who has dealt with and competed against some of Time Inc’s properties, the general consensus is Time Inc is a horrible company to buy and then try and operate the business, it usually ends up just a shell of
