Bold of you to assume FCA/Renault will still exist in 20 years.

“Unlimited Supercharging”. They recently stopped doing this apparently, only allowing people to charge up to 80%, so not “unlimited”.

Maybe calling it something like “Full Self Driving Pre-Order” would be better, but even that’s not accurate. Because SOME of the features of the FSD capability are already enabled present day (i.e. the Navigate on Autopilot and Auto Lane Change).

I hear they’re being delivered by flying cars

One of these days you will.

Can you really fit anyone in a car that doesn’t exist?

2 engine replacements?

Tesla paperwork is less than 5 minutes. Picked mine up about 3 weeks ago. Didn’t finance, so that probably made it faster. Just signed my name on a couple pieces of paper and that was it! Their process is light years ahead of traditional dealers. They also don’t try to up sell you on extended warranties or aftermarket

Tesla builds far more efficient drivetrains than the mainstream manufacturers have managed to do. The iPace, eTron, and EQC all use far more kw-h per mile than the larger Model X.

We’ve been hearing this for years. No they’re not. Tesla is seen as innovative and cool; VW is not. Plenty of people buy on that image.

The worst that will happen to Tesla is they’ll have to continue raising funding/taking on debt. If the problem ever gets too bad some other company will just buy them out.

I really don’t understand the Tesla hate. American car company, decent looking cars, fantastic performance... Innovative, legitimate competitor to the Germans. I see it as the modern-day Cadillac. Personally never driven one, but I like that they exist. For all the decades of bitching about how much American car suck

Oh brother... All the poor VFX artists slaving away in front of their computers from now until November working 22 hour days on the fucking Sonic The Hedgehog movie. It sounds like the lowest ring of hell.

Season 8, Episode 3: “Can’t See Shit” dir. Miguel Sapochnik

I’m setting my limit at 3 I think. I pay for Hulu and netflix. Amazon is included with my prime so I’m not counting that, and I may get Disney as I have a young son. I haven’t canceled my cable yet, but with GoT coming to an end, and the NFL being basically unwatchable the last few years, I think it’s almost time.

i think it’s pretty cool that someone’s going to reinvent cable and call it an innovation

When do we reach peak streaming? How many services can the average viewer reasonably adopt?

Charge the car while you’re not driving it, like at night. Problem solved.

On the other hand, think how awesome it would be if you had a gas pump at your house.

I personally wont buy it unless it has 371 miles....

Haha you’re going to quibble over 30 miles? I’m sure it has nothing to do with the $88,000 price tag.
